One word to describe Jung Jaewon is free. He doesn't care about the trouble his words might make or what other's think about him because he knows who he is and he's confident in that. While he might lend a caring hand or show fierce loyalty for those close to him, he isn't above pointing out flaws or making it known when he's unhappy with a situation. Jaewon doesn't see why he has to pretend to be someone he's not, regardless of how much love or friendship might be between them. It has led him to a few sticky situations, but he takes back what he gives out to people. That doesn't mean Jaewon dislikes most everyone around him, he actually enjoys having company and friendship as long as it isn't his mother. All of her calls go straight to voice mail, especially after she called his tattoo 'the ugly dark mark' like he was a character from Harry Potter. Jaewon will be loyal till the end for those he sees truly as worthy as being close to him, especially the brothers he surrounds himself with in AGR. They're the first people to accept him for who he truly is outside of his tiny brother and it has shaped Jaewon a lot in the last year.

Another word to describe Jaewon is distracted. He becomes easily thrown off by noise or music as he likes to make anything he hears into some kind of beat. The reason he went into sound design is because he actually truly does enjoy making a song out of almost nothing or that noise you hear randomly in the distance. Music is a place for him to get out his feelings and his need to be different, and it just so happens that he has a knack for it. He has even recently contemplated getting more into DJing or using his passion to write a real rap song. The distraction is still obvious though when Jaewon is in large crowds or trying to focus on one certain task. Tapping can be noticeable and sometimes a far off look, but it isn't too hard to pull the kid back from his day dreams.

Underneath his mostly weird exterior, Jaewon has a good side, he just never shows it unless it's necessary making him seem much more serious than he is unless he's drunk or high. There has been one or two girls in his life that he tried really hard to please, only to be left in the dust. Romance has just lost its spark after the last one broke him in front of his friends as a freshmen. Jaewon deemed it better to close himself in a bit more and he usually will try to act tough regardless of his smaller build and height. The tattoos help lend to that illusion and the cocky attitude just easily follows. If someone is inside of his shell though, he usually backs down and can become much easier to handle and talk to. There is a lot of love in his smaller body, but he doesn't see why he has to show it to anyone who isn't his adopted brother.

Jaewon
Jung Jaewon was born to a respectable home outside of Seoul. There was no magical fairy tale life or riches upon riches, but they were a strong and good family. While his mother worked as a teacher, his father was a business man for a department store chain that ended up taking off in the area when Jaewon was younger. Not much changed, aside from the fact that it became easier to afford nicer clothes and food. Money and status never meant a lot to the young boy, not when he was focused on destroying everything around him or learning a new bike trick at the cost of a bloodied elbow. Life was simple and he learned to enjoy every little bit of it. Well, until he was 11.

One day, his mother came home with a one year old child named Samuel. He had a giant nose and was way too loud for Jaewon's tastes, but his parents told him that the baby would now be his brother for good. They had adopted him from his father's aunt in America who passed away and decided the best home would be for him in Seoul. Gone was the silence and room Jaewon had become acustomed to, gone the action figures and skates laying on the floor, only to be replaced with a crib and a much too loud brother. That isn't to say he didn't grow fond of Samuel... He grew to love his brother very much and became fiercely protective of him, but there was always a lingering feeling of wanting to be alone and free again that followed Jaewon well into his mid teens. Samuel was everything he wasn't and it showed, but it just encouraged him to get out of the house that much faster.

Jaetwo
The later years of high school were rough. While he started out average in grades and not really apart of any kind of group, his second year proved to be a much different story. There were no awards sent home, no grades posted on the fridge, and mostly just yelling from his parents about how he wasn't being a proper son to them. Jaewon decided he didn't want to be the proper son and took off on his bike often just before dark to join a group of kids on the outskirts of their suburb even as Samuel asked for him to stay home. The freedom felt just how he had hoped it would, plus the benefits weren't bad. Friends became some of the people he could truly rely on when his parents were too busy with work or his brother was just too young to understand. They showed him how to properly hold a cigerette and drink soju in one go, and they even helped him design his first tattoo- a skull design running down the length of his arm. These friends led to a spirited try at rapping that proved to be interesting at times, though Jaewon didn't see it as anything more than a hobby even though he had come up with a couple songs on his own. He felt like most of them were just trying to be the next 50 Cent though the kid next door felt more like a 2 cent.

Outside of his nightly activites, he became below average in school, but he saw it as he wasn't last at least. A teacher he had grown fond of in the art department realized how often Jaewon would be listening to music and writing out beats subconciously on papers instead of focusing on lectures. It led to a well placed pamphlet and a couple talks that convinced him to try his hand at sound design, but he just wasn't sure where since it wasn't like he had ever really tried before.

Jaethree
It took some fighting with his parents and a boat load of catching up on books, but Jaewon became set and determined on going to Yonsei University. He had never tried and wanted something this bad before since Samuel was first brought home. Even though they saw sound design as something ridiculous, he thought it would be a great career. People paying you to make things sound cool? Hell yeah. The tests were painful and Jaewon had never felt dumber in his life, but he managed to pull out on the low end of things and slip into the new class of students at Yonsei University. In celebration, he finally got the skull tattoo he designed which ended up being the worst plan ever. His mother all but kicked him out of the house when the time came for Jaewon to move to school, but he practically ran on his own. Jaewon's father saw it all as an opportunity for Jaewon to learn, encouraging him and backing the money, as long as he promised to come home once in a while to take care of Samuel on weekends.

Freshmen year wasn't a total bomb in Jaewon's book, it was better than he had ever felt in school before. People allowed him to be free and he felt true to himself, even if meant making a couple enemies. He met one of his closest friends, Lee Jooheon, at a party who convinced him to rush Alpha Gamma Rho with him on a dare. It ended up being the best choice he had made after going to Yonsei so far. The people he made as brothers ended up becoming more of a family than his own ever was to him and Jaewon truly found himself at home. Though he still isn't exactly sure what he wants to do with his life, he knows that what will be, will be. There's no reason to let it get him down with the party has just begun.

Notes of Interest

1. Jaewon has multiple tattoos, one taking up the entirety of his left arm below the elbow. It's his pride and joy. It is also a bad addiction.
2. There isn't a food that Jaewon doesn't like, he will eat or try pretty much everything at least once if it's placed in front of him.
3. Alcohol is a poison of choice, but smoking is a habit that he can't exactly quit. He's thought about it once or twice, but it's just easier to give in and go outside to smoke.
4. Samuel is actually a small child, so he doesn't let him come to Yonsei ever. There has been a time or two when his brother ran away from home and Jaewon had to literally carry him over his shoulder back to home.
5. He has a license and can drive, but he prefers to use his bike to get around to places. It's easier and faster to weave between traffic, but he has thought about buying a car one day. That first means getting a job and he's much too lazy for that.
6. One is his nickname because since he was young, people would notice how Jaewon sounded awfuly like one. His friend always joked that he's Jae one, two three.
